Mechanical
- Mechanical design tools, such as Splined Flex Ducts that conform to any shape with editable grips.
- Suggested Layout Paths for quickly toggling through automatically suggested layout designs for ducts and pipes.
- Off-Center Takeoffs for determining offsets along the entire duct surface and rotating the duct at any angle.
- Interference Detection for checking and fixing collisions.
- Produce construction documents faster and more accurately with tools like Rise/Drop Symbology for dynamically connecting ductwork and piping symbology.
Electrical
- Demand Factors tool to automatically calculate service and feeder sizes based on industry standards.
- Intelligent circuit objects —which you can define as single, two, or three pole— cuts the time required to develop detailed construction documents.
- Panel Schedule tools help ensure accuracy of construction documents by coordinating drawings with circuit data.
Plumbing
- Streamline the design and documentation process.
- Quickly lay out plumbing systems with the Plumbing Schematic Piping tool.
- Use built-in —and fully customizable— plumbing code systems to automatically calculate code-driven pipe sizing and flow requirements.
- Ensure that your documents are consistent and coordinated by using intelligent fixtures, such as lavatories and water closets, that behave according to their real-world properties and update throughout all drawing files.
